Take 2 because I already have both of these items and actually they were in the
same previous order! After my
next most recent EATME package finally arrived, I finally felt like I could take a chance and order again (although for all future orders, DHL or wait until regular air methods resume). This was perfect timing for the winter sales!
This was the original colorway I fell in love with for this OP. For my initial purchase, I went with black because it seemed more classic, but I kept half an eye on this version during the sales. The price went down significantly and even though I'm not in love with the fit of the "vest" portion of the dress, I liked it enough to just get it even as a base on sale. The color is more grey leaning than beige in real life, which I don't mind at all and actually makes it a little more versatile with my wardrobe. There's also a really subtle glitter in the check print which is really nice as well!

As with the other version, the little asymmetrical vest piece is completely removable. I've become a little more experienced in tying it properly and like it a bit more now overall (for both colors). The fabric is slightly different between this mix color and the black with the mix color being slightly more lightweight. I thought I wouldn't be able to create more than 2 looks for this blog post, but I had fun trying some different looks. I might actually like the last one best!

This purchase was moreso because this was the top that had the best sale price at the time. It just so happens it's a top I already own but I think the black is quite different from the green! I actually only have 1 other all black EATME top and since this one is quite comfortable and fits the style really well, it made sense to get another to just pad my order a little bit.

This is a relatively basic top with some cute details (the choker and shoulder ruffles) and is super easy to wear. The ribbed knit material is really comfortable and the length is great for tucking into high waisted bottoms. I'm really glad this made it to a sale because it's going to be a fantastic basic to pair with so many different (EATME) skirts! I especially like how the shoulder details are balanced out by a pleated/aline skirt.
Not a momentous order, but I'm happy to add to my wardrobe with these items on sale! I've found myself ordering a lot of duplicates of EATME items after I find that I love an item in an initial colorway and I'm always grateful to see it available for a cheaper price so I have another chance at it!
