Thanks for all the scans! I absolutely adore Larme but Im still having a hard time grasping what the fashion really means/entails. I feel like every time I try to dress larme it still looks like himekaji or whatever :/ I love these scans though its so hard to get Japanese mags here since we don't have any Japanese bookstores so I really loved this post!

This is literally the 8th time I'm trying to leave this comment so I hope it works.
DeleteI think if you're not super familiar with the fashion, copying looks almost directly out of the magazine is the easiest way to get a feel for it since the style is based pretty much 100% on what's featured in it. But beyond that, IMO the big difference between a girly larme coordinate and an otona kawaii or himekaji coordinate is the make up style and also the hair! There's always a bit more of an adult feel in general with specific kinds of lace placement and certain silhouettes as well.
I really need to try and do more larme hair and make up cause it always looks so pretty in the magazines and I never do them :/
ReplyDeleteYour hair and face are so well suited to these kinds of looks! Please do ♡♡♡
DeleteWow, thanks for these lovely scans! I was going to grab Larme volume 16 from kino but they sold out before I could get it. I should go back and get this volume too!
ReplyDeleteReally big fan of the "world of girly mind" outfits and layout. I've seen those short skirts+long lace overskirt everywhere recently, and I really want one.
The aesthetics in Larme are always amazing!
DeleteLove the photo shoots in Larme! It's one of my favorite Japanese fashion magazine. Thanks for the scans! ♥
