    I'm planning on purchasing a LL bag & dress from different sites

      It is usually cheaper to consolidate if you plan on using EMS.
      If your two original packages could each be shipped by SAL small package and then once consolidated no longer qualify for the small package option, then it's very iffy.
      I don't consolidate very often anymore because of customs fees as well but not everyone has to worry about that.
