Liz Lisa Ankle Boots

In mid February, I finally ordered these boots from Berri (storenvy) after lots of discussion about them lol. Since they were coming from Australia, it took a bit to get here, but I was super excited to receive them last week Thursday (2/27)!
The box looked as if someone had stabbed it, but the contents were perfectly fine, especially considering that Berri had kindly included the shoes in their original shoe box and had placed the box in a Liz Lisa shopping bag which provided extra protection.

[Sorry for the poor quality photos in this post but I won't be able to take better quality ones for awhile and wanted to make this post sooner rather than later. I had a fair amount of free time this past weekend but there was only enough sun to shoot the Tony Moly product pictures and it had gone away by the time I wanted to shoot the boots. And the next day it was rainy and gray *all day*. You'll for sure see me wearing these boots with different outfits in (better quality) future posts though!]

This was another one of those cases where I saw these boots for sale at VENT and didn't buy them, but the more I saw them on other people/shop staff, the more I wanted them and by that time it was too late lol. (I think these boots are currently listed in the Outlet Shop but last I checked they were sold out.) These are from...2 years ago I think? Last season's version of this boot has a wedge heel, but I prefer this chunkier one. Berri said, and I agreed, that it kind of looks like a Liz Lisa version of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita. It also came in a dark brown, but I was happy to get this in the beige color because of what I plan to wear them with, and lucky me, Berri was willing to sell hers - brand new with tags in box. (There are creases in the boots but that's because I was so eager to wear them that I wore them out the very next day I received them and didn't wait to take pictures. So this is what they look like after one use lol)

I had heard that these boots were super comfy despite the height and that's absolutely true! One of the shoes rubs a little on one of my big toes but it just requires a little breaking in and won't bother me after a few uses. I can definitely see myself traveling with these and they're great for most kinds of weather. My other rain-weather-suitable ankle boots don't have heels and the other knee-high/OTK boots are less than ideal to wear in 80 degree weather, so I anticipate being able to create a variety of different outfits at any time of year.

Here are a few coordinates that I quickly threw together. (Again, sorry about the quality and the lighting. Had to use artificial light since there wasn't any sun.)

with Material Girl dot dress

 with Forever 21 floral dress

with Liz Lisa check romper

with Liz Lisa replica (taobao) floral OP

with Forever 21 sleeveless top and Liz Lisa floral sukapan and purse

 with Forever 21 floral dress

Idk why, but I feel like my legs/body looks short in these boots in these photos. But they definitely don't look short in real life though because the heel adds a lot of height...

Anyway, I look forward to making better/real coordinates with these boots in the future! I think they'll be my go-to boot for rainy Hawaii weather which tends to only last a short while and sometimes the temperature is still in the high 70s.

Please check out MissBaci's Secondhand Shop. She no longer has these boots (since I bought them) but she does have other Liz Lisa + other brand items!
You might also be interested in Apfel-Birne's storenvy and Mint Kismet's Closet and MK Commodities.
All run by friends I trust to sell authentic items (unless replica is specified).

Oh, and my storenvy [Emiiichan Shop], of course! I have a number of Liz Lisa/VENT items that need to go to good homes because they aren't well suited to me. Many of the items are only tried on/new with tags, and I'm willing to negotiate for most.

Tony Moly products

A few of the Tony Moly products that I've bought! There are two Tony Moly locations on Oahu - one in Palama Market in Kalihi and another near Ala Moana on Keeaumoku Street. Tony Moly Hawaii seems to almost always be having a sale although it doesn't extend to every single item. I think I should also note that at the Kalihi location, my mom (who shopped with me) has had to correct the sales girl about what she got charged every single time we made a purchase there.
Anyway, onto the pictures ~

Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist / Moist Mist
Ahhh I think these are just so cute. A bit hard to photograph because they're so light in color. They're meant to help "refresh" your face with the spray, but I honestly just like looking at the bottles. I have seen them with the ears broken off in the stores (I'm assuming it's because they were accidentally dropped on the hard floor) so I don't carry them around much. Tbh, it feels like you're just spraying water on your face.

Petite Bunny Gloss Bar

These each have a different scent and emotion! The orange one is orange, obviously. The lavender is grape, and the hot pink is strawberry. I like the lavender one the best for the color it gives and the smell. So far the ears appear to be sturdy. I just throw them in my purse with no real regard for them and none have broken off so far.

Sheet Masks (assorted)
I somehow always end up buying these because they typically have some sort of Buy X amount and get Y amount free. They're super simple to use and there's quite a few different ones. The shop staff suggested keeping them in the refrigerator so they're nice and cool when you apply them! It's very refreshing lol.

Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack
This is the product that made me interested in Tony Moly skin care. I was constantly seeing rave reviews for it and decided to purchase it the first time I visited a store. The smell is light and not overpowering. S has very sensitive skin, and I think this was a bit too much for him.

Green Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream

I actually received this as a free gift during a giveaway by the Tony Moly store. It didn't come with a box or any instructions (a lot of the products are sold that way in the store and I'm not sure why). I could tell it was new though because the sticker seal was unbroken. It smells as expected, like green apple! Not something I would use regularly but I was happy to receive it for free :)

Eggpore Blackhead Out Oil Gel
The actual gel itself is not very thick, and I had a hard time taking the picture. You can probably see it was spilling out a bit haha. I really hate the smell of eggs, but that scent is not overly present or really there at all although it's not odorless. As the name implies, it's supposed to help get rid of blackheads. I've read some reviews that say it's not very effective though.

Clean Dew Broccoli Sprout Cleansing Cream
I love the packaging for this! The leaves on this bobble and move a bit, and it's so so cute! The smell is mild but pleasant. I like that you can see the green bits in it - something I like visually for cleansers. Meant to remove impurities and make-up.

Unfortunately, I don't use any of these products regularly enough to know if they really work lol. So this was really more of a photo post sorry. [Perhaps I can do more in depth reviews of each product in future posts!]
I mostly purchased for the packaging, and they were typically purchased during 30-40% off sales at the stores. I do plan to use them more in the future (because otherwise it's such a waste of money :|) when I decide on a skin care routine I can really stick with.
The only think I don't like about the most of the products is that you kind of have to stick your finger into the goop to take it out (except for the tomatox which comes with a small "spoon") but it often gets stuck under my finger nails. I would much rather have a squeeze bottle or something similar for easier use, but obviously the packaging wouldn't be as aesthetically appealing!

Did I really place another VENT order? - LL wedges, earrings, JE OP, TLL knit, JC wedge pumps

What have I done lol. I had convinced myself that I wasn't going to place any more VENT orders until the spring 2014 stock went on sale (at least 20%) or until the 4th My Melody collab OP was released at the end of March. But VENT emails strike again...I noticed they added new stock to the Outlet Shop so I browsed through all 45 pages of in-stock items and ended up with these things in my cart after 2 hours of going back and forth.

Liz Lisa Wedge Sandal

It started with these shoes.(I think they're from SS13.) I currently have the same ones in yellow which I bought when they were on sale. At the time, the only color in stock in my size was yellow, and I decided that I loved the design so I just bought them even though I wasn't the biggest fan of yellow. They're pretty comfy though, and I love the floral inner sole. I swear this dusty pink color wasn't available last year. There was a pink option earlier, but it was more of a deep pink and disappeared after awhile?
I hope the shoes I receive actually look like the top stock photo and don't end up being the deeper pink...But still I like the either pink more than the yellow and was sad that option wasn't available earlier so I'm glad I got this second chance.

I fell in love with this dress after seeing it on Cheynna. She wears it much better than the stock photo model and the mannequin which both [apparently] don't do this dress justice! Decided to take a chance on it since Berry also did (in orange) lol. Original price was 14490yen and it was like 70% off.

Similarly to the shoes, I wanted these during SS13 but they sold out before they went on sale. I don't usually wear dangly earrings because I already kind of have a lot going on on my ears, but I don't own many Liz Lisa accessories, and I really like these. (Berry has these also lol.) I also wanted the matching necklace but that was sold out.

No real reason for buying this other than I want a white knit of this length for a reasonable price and this was 70% off 5145yen. It also looks to be on the thinner side, and I like the pattern on the front. I think this will be good for casual looks with skirts.

These last shoes are Jeffrey Campbell Pizans wtf! Juge Etta was selling them, and I don't know why? I questioned this pretty hard for a good portion of the 2 hours of internal debate but at the price, I thought it was a risk worth taking.  I looked up this shoe on google and apparently it's a 6 inch heel with a 2 inch platform. I have my doubts about the comfort level, but I don't have another pair of black shoes like this so it'll be an interesting addition.

I'm definitely afraid of what the Tenso fee + EMS shipping will be for this order since it contains two pairs of shoes, but total I paid around $144 for these 5 items which is basically the retail price of the Juge Etta dress! I can't wait to try on that OP in particular since it looks so darling on the two people I know who have already ordered it lol.
