OOTD - February 2023

I think I finally figured out how to dress in Japan's winter (for this area) and learned a lot more about layering in general! I didn't capture quite as many outfits this month as I would have liked (I got a little lazy taking the photos some days and also got sick near the end of the month which made me overall lazy), but this is a pretty good sample for February!

I feel like I'm constantly wearing the same coats and jackets this winter, so I'm really looking forward to it getting about 5-10 degrees warmer so I can wear my spring outers (cropped riders jacket, cardigan and jean jacket type stuff) to increase variety a little bit! It has definitely been fun layering with coats, but it's time for something different 😁

  1. Hi, random question but I know you used to go to a lot of fishing stores in Japan on previous trips. Can you tell me those stores, specifically in the Tokyo area, and if there's any others you recommend?

    1. I don't actually know much about the fishing stores myself. My ex was the impetus for visiting those and he had done all the research and decided which ones were a priority for him (based on what he personally wanted to buy which was certain lures and every so often a particular pole). We mostly went to Sansui (various locations throughout Tokyo and JP) and Johshuya.
