I love it when the first spread in a magazine really catches my eye like this one! Autumn trends represented in popular styles with models Sakurina, Emiri, Orimo, Satomin and Keiko! You can already see a nice variety in the intro page.
Starting strong with Rock Style on Sakurina, this is the kind of looks that originally got me interested in Japanese fashion, so I'll always have a soft spot for it even if I don't actually purchase/wear it. The outfit for Day 27 stands out for me - I love the details on the top and it being paired with shorts and ankle boots.
This Lady style on Emiri is so classy while still including incorporating some fun trends and lots of high heeled pumps. I obviously love the florals but I love the monotone look for Day 10 with the setup from Emiria Wiz. The material just looks so cozy and the sleeves are really cute!
I was a bit surprised to see a few Liz Lisa, Swankiss and Ank Rouge type items in this 20 days of otona girly coordinates. Many of these seems to be a bit larme kei inspired with a nice mix of textures and prints.
This type of elegant girly style is not what I personally typically expect from Ageha but I guess there is a little more of a sexy edge than what you might see from Ray or CanCam type magazines, especially with the shoe choice! I see many of these being really great for cute office attire.
This おフェロ (what's the best translation for this?) style is definitely more along the lines of what I might expect from Ageha aside from the Rock style on Sakurina. Sexy but still slightly demure. I love the Day 9 and Day 20 looks.
Omg these DaTuRa knits always looks so comfy and amazinggggg. Idk if I'm lucky that I live in a place that is too hot for them otherwise I'd go broke buying these or unlucky that I'd never have a decent opp to wear one.
This hair color spread is coming at an opportune time because I've really been meaning to change my hair color. It's unintentionally almost ombre/2 tone right now and I really would much rather have it all one color! I don't know if I have enough guts to really try for some of these lighter browns because it just requires too much upkeep and my natural color is so dark, but this is definitely great inspo!
I was not expecting such a full spread for circle lenses, but I'm happy to see them as a focus like this again. My favorite from the past is the one worn by Satomin. It's so interesting to see all the different brown lenses and slightly different make up styles!
I love all the variety in these date looks! If I'm honest, I never get dressed up for dates but I would love to use this as inspo for going out with friends instead.
I've been trying to get back into hats lately and I usually just always wear my hair down with them but I love a lot of the ideas here! I definitely want to try a few, especially maybe an updo.
I would expect nothing less from an Ageha Halloween shoot. My favorite is definitely the vampire look! I think the Zootopia and Minion looks are quite cute as well though.
These trend nail looks aren't the long, blingy ones typically expected, but I think there's really some validity to shorter nail sets with a cohesive theme. I rarely get my nails done with 10/10 fingers with full paint (prefer to do gradient or French-type tips) but I just love seeing them laid out like this.
This is just a small selection from this spread showcasing Ageha's 19 models but they feature some of my favorite looks + nails as well! Orimo Ai's look is definitely something that appeals to me but I really like Rin's soft look as well.
One great thing about Ageha is that I can typically find hairstyles suitable for long hair like this! And simple but still super cute, elegant but not super complicated or fussy. Sometimes my hair has too much length for tutorials in other magazines to look good lol.
I think I've seen a few other people post scans from this issue, but I wanted to highlight some of my favorites from this issue which I think might have a slightly different perspective. While the current issues of Ageha might seem "toned down" compared to what it used to be 2-3 years ago, I'm happy that the magazine is still churning out content, and I think it would be a pity if there were stuck somewhere in the past if that's not what was working for them. I always believe change in fashion and trends is good, even if it's not my personal taste. This is just a small selection of what October 2016's Ageha has to offer, so please considering purchasing it yourself if you're interested in more!
