Liz Lisa Floral jumpsuit Winter 2013

I saw that Rebby was looking to sell her jumpsuit from her Liz Lisa 2015 web-limited fukubukuro, so I offered her a trade for an OP of mine. I was really hoping to get this jumpsuit in my fuku when I learned what the contents would be like because I really wanted to try it on (without having to specifically purchase it), but that was not my luck lol. In any case, I was still able to get my hands on it and sent an under-utilized OP to a new loving home thanks to Rebby, so here it is!

Sorry, try as I might, I could not get it to fit on my mannequin without threatening to rip it :X
[Edit: found the stock photos and the actual name of the jumpsuit from TKL!]

I also went back in a few of the blog archives to look for a few ideas of how shop staff styled it (sometimes in an alternate color). Click the photo for the source post -

The jumpsuit is a winter item so it was mostly styled with long sleeves and other outerwear (which I don't usually heavily invest in or prefer to wear myself), but I think I was still able to get a pretty good idea of what the jumpsuit should ideally look like since I've never owned one before.

My attempts at coordinating it:
with Liz Lisa lace panel blouse and Liz Lisa heart suede pumps -
^^ how much room there is in the hip area & how it looks when I'm not trying to be super posey ^^
I thought the shoes matched a little bit better in person, but in pictures it actually contrasts a lot lol. I think you can see how puffy the hips area is in the bottom right photo.

with Liz Lisa x My Melody 6th collab vol. 2 blouse & Flag J pumps (+ Liz Lisa dot mesh ribbon pork pie hat) -
The half sleeve length of this blouse is actually working for me here! I'm starting to understand it a little more lol. I don't really have anything long sleeved to go with this, so this blouse is about as close as it gets.

with Liz Lisa lace sleeveless top and Liz Lisa 2-strap ribbon pumps -
Not sure if I actually like this coordinate but I also wanted to try out the jumpsuit with a top with less of a sleeve. Tbh I also tried it with my other sleeveless lace top (with no shoulder ruffle) and it looked...kind of weird imo lol.

I pulled up the hem of the pants because I just couldn't stand the length of this on me without doing that lol. It was really like in the middle between being full length and being an appropriate capri length. I don't prefer capri length in general anymore, but having it hit mid calf was somewhat unacceptable in my mind for some reason, therefore the scrunching by the knee.

I have to say that the fit in the hip/butt area leaves something to be desired (#diaperbutt anyone?), and it's way too big on me in this area, but if have a bit more in your hips, this kind of OP might actually fit you pretty well lol. It would also do for me to be about an inch or two shorter since I think my body is about at the max proportions for this kind of jumpsuit without the crotch getting dangerous lol. As it stands, it already kind of fills in the hip/butt area a bit odd/not how I was anticipating. The waist actually fits okay though! And there is no zipper on this thing, so the ribbon tie is a must for me.

This may not be the most flattering OP I've ever owned (especially from the rear), but I wanted to share a few photos/coordinates with you anyway because I don't see a lot of "real people" buying these kinds of items and actually showing "review" photos? (Although maybe I'm not looking in the right places, so sorry if there are a lot that exist lol.) Anyway, this isn't a super exciting post, but hopefully you gained a bit of insight about these all-in-one OPs/jumpsuits if you were interested!

As a small reminder (and I'm sure those of you who actually read my posts are tired of reading these blurbs, but I am constantly getting blamed for not warning people of this, so here I go again) - I am extremely uncomfortable with my personal photos being used for the profit of others especially without a simple source link. In general, I would prefer for my photos not to be reposted without my permission at all, but if you feel the extreme need to do so, I simply ask that you just include a simple link back to my original post. Regardless of whether I watermark every single photo, I do still own the copyright to these pictures and you finding them on Google Image does not mean I do not own them anymore?? (There has been some confusion on that front apparently. And to be clear, Google does even warn you when you click on a photo that the image may be subject to copyright, and Google does not sever the photos from their original pages, so it's easy to find their source if you choose.) I do not blog and post these photos so that others can sell their products that are not associated with me in the slightest. And the response I get when I just ask for my photos to be sourced really discourages me from sharing and continuing to blog. I mean this in the least aggressive way possible, but I'm not just going to throw 80 smiley emojis in this to "soften the tone" because I am serious, and I honestly feel like you should be able to read a paragraph like this without emoticons and not be offended by its message.

VENT order arrived - Liz Lisa pink wedges, bow earrings, Juge Etta OP, Tralala Knit & JC wedge pumps

Preceding post - Did I really place another VENT order?

(I swear this is the post title to like 3 or 4 blog posts already, but it's the best way to describe it I think!)
This post is pretty much all photos!

Love these shoes! I had a lot of fun taking pictures in these although I've posted a couple of these outfits (with different shoes) before. I like that I can mix and match Liz Lisa shoes and clothes depending on my mood. The color is exactly what I wanted it to be and it's the same subtle pink in a lot of Liz Lisa prints. Since I already have these in yellow, the design, etc was not much of a surprise. I'm super glad I was able to snag these in this color! They're still available in the Outlet Shop in M and L, although it seems like the price went up? Definitely recommend.

Laid flat, this dress, I swear, looks like a bag. But actually the fit is not bad! It almost barely doesn't fit on my mannequin (although a lot of free size items don't), by which I mean, it's not huge. The silhouette and neckline are simple, but I don't mind it. At some angles, it looks really poofy after the empire(ish) waist but it's growing on me. I definitely like the color, print and the length. The material though, is a little odd. I was expecting it to...have more structure? Like a thicker, slightly stiffer material? But it's some kind of synthetic, chiffonish material. (Sorry I'm really bad at differentiating fabrics.) Despite that, it feels and looks well made and is fully lined. No regrets here.

Tralala cable knit in white (632-3210-0)
ブークレケーブルニット

It's a basic knit. It's more of a light beige color than a white despite this being the "white" color option. It's reasonably thin (compared to other knits I have from VENT) but still a knit. Therefore, I couldn't bear to wear it for too long and, as a result, there are less photos of this one lol. I think it'll be good for layering especially over dresses and with skirts.

Liz Lisa ribbon earrings in gold (131-9012-0)
キャシャリボンピアス
My eyes/face looks deranged in these photos but I had a really hard time taking the photos. I don't know if you can tell lol. Otherwise I would have taken more. They're smaller than I was expecting them to be, but that's not a problem. Also very light in weight!
I don't wear gold earrings...at all really. But that's because I feel like all the earrings on my ears should match? And I feel that would be too much gold, but it's not too much silver lol. Idk. I may have to take out most of my other earrings if I want to wear these.

(Juge Etta) Jeffrey Campbell back strap pumps
No coordinate photos with these because they're too big! I plan to try to sell these. Brand new without box but will be shipped in a box (versus envelope or soft packaging material).
Just to clarify, they are Jeffrey Campbell Pizans despite the Juge Etta tag (see insole of shoe for brand name). Nothing wrong with them except that it's not a good fit. I bought size "L" but these aren't Japanese shoes so obviously they don't exactly fit the sizing conventions. And I think I read somewhere that JC's run a bit big in general? The number on the bottom of the shoe is "38", and I think I'm more of a 37.

Despite a bad fit for the JC's, I'm happy with this order. I just hope I can find a good home for them!
I can't wait for the spring stuff to go on saleeee and for the Liz Lisa x My Melody 4th collab items at the end of the month/beginning of April. Hopefully I'm not compelled to make any more orders before then :O
