We are starting to suffer in the humidity lol. The rainy season passed after the beginning of July, but the air is not much drier regardless. It is the time for open-toed sandals, short sleeves (but not sleeveless because this is Japan lol) and lighter/flowier fabrics.

Mid-way through this month, I finally realized I haven't been taking advantage of the opportunity to use my basket/woven bags enough, so expect to see them more in August before I consider them seasonally inappropriate. Also boo to my hairstyles this month. I just can't keep up with the humidity more than once a week, but I made an internal promise to for at least that much!
