This video came out to be longer than I wanted or anticipated, and the lighting was failing fast (what else is new? I swear I complain about nothing else), but I wanted to show off these dresses a little more to my YT subscribers, so here it is!
I love how full the skirt is. Because it's not made of super light material and has a lining, when I twirl, it doesn't fly up too much (which is good). However, it is a bit on the heavier side, and as a result, I'm not sure how often I'll wear it because I don't want to sweat in them too much :|

Liz Lisa x My Melody 4th collab OPs

I was so happy too see a 4th installment of the Liz Lisa x My Melody collaboration ever since the announcement on the Liz Lisa official ameblo blog!

Looking at the flyer, I was instantly interested in the OP because of the print! During the 3rd collab in November, I only ordered the Liz Lisa x My Melody phone case and passed on the dress and jacket because they were long sleeve A/W items. During the 2nd collab last March, I just happened to be online during the OP release but couldn't decide which color I wanted and if I wanted to pay full price, and eventually all 3 colors were sold out right in front of my eyes! Haha. This time, I knew I didn't want to hesitate and decided to just go for it! Initially, I had also wanted the pass case (released at same time as the OP on 3/29) or the cushion (release 4/12), but I decided that I would just put all my money towards the OP instead.

I was further enticed by the two color options for the OP as seen on Minami, my favorite of the LL Gals!

I really couldn't decide which color I liked better. I was pretty sure I preferred pink (which seems kind of quintessential Liz Lisa to me) but there was something about the blue color option that was really appealing! Most of the people I asked said I should get blue, especially because I already own a lot of pink. Truthfully, I also own quite a bit of blue from Liz Lisa too haha. In the end, I decided to try to get both! I knew it wouldn't be easy because of the popularity of the collab items, but I didn't want to have any regrets about color, and truly couldn't decide even though I was constantly staring at the blog photos of the dresses!

The VENT/online release of the items was set for 3/28 at 21:00 Japan time which is 02:00am HST. Even though I had set an alarm for 01:50am, I happened randomly to wake up at 1:45am (apparently super eager wtf)! After I logged into my VENT account, I refreshed the OP's listing every minute or so until the "COMING SOON" changed to "Add to Cart" at around 1:55am! The site was a little slow, but I managed to first add the Pink color option and then the Blue one to my cart.

 I hesitated for about 30 seconds because I was trying to figure out if I wanted to add anything else, but decided not to waste time and eagerly checked out!

Hooooooray. While I was awake for the release, I posted a bit on Dayre lol. My version of "live tweeting" my OP purchase haha. It was kind of helpful to note what time the collab items were released and how quickly they sold out! [All first sold out even before 02:00am although I think blue briefly came back in stock (maybe people put it in their cart and changed their mind?) within an hour before selling out again!] Even some people who were online at the same time as me weren't able to get everything they wanted :| I feel so lucky about the timing of my page refresh and that the site even let me through!

I ordered on 3/28, order processed at Tenso on 3/31, left Tenso on 4/1 and I received it on 4/5.

As a small reminder (and I'm sure those of you who actually read my posts are tired of reading these blurbs, but I am constantly getting blamed for not warning people of this, so here I go again) - I am extremely uncomfortable with my personal photos being used for the profit of others especially without a simple source link. In general, I would prefer for my photos not to be reposted without my permission at all, but if you feel the extreme need to do so, I simply ask that you just include a simple link back to my original post. Regardless of whether I watermark every single photo, I do still own the copyright to these pictures and you finding them on Google Image does not mean I do not own them anymore?? (There has been some confusion on that front apparently. And to be clear, Google does even warn you when you click on a photo that the image may be subject to copyright, and Google does not sever the photos from their original pages, so it's easy to find their source if you choose.) I do not blog and post these photos so that others can sell their products that are not associated with me in the slightest. And the response I get when I just ask for my photos to be sourced really discourages me from sharing and continuing to blog. I mean this in the least aggressive way possible, but I'm not just going to throw 80 smiley emojis in this to "soften the tone" because I am serious, and I honestly feel like you should be able to read a paragraph like this without emoticons and not be offended by its message.
