I was really happy that I was able to purchase both the end of summer sale items and the early autumn releases during this trip! I expected to favor buying the summer items, but as it turned out, I clearly went full bore into autumn. (Note: the choco dipped cherry series items are actually from Summer 2017 but they matched much better with these autumn items so I lumped them in with this post!)
As with the last post, I tried to integrate some of the new items into outfits with the other new items! When you see the item marked with a * in the description of a coordinate, it's also a new/featured item within the post!
Sweet latte OP in brown (175-6001-0)
スウィートラテ柄ワンピース
Purchased from Liz Lisa Ikspiari on Day 4.
This dress has a lot of detail! It features lace up ribbon on the chest surrounded by two vertical ruffles from the shoulder to waist where they meet at a big ribbon. The print includes latte drinks along with chocolate pieces and chocolate bar motifs.
Brown wasn't immediately my favorite color for this series but after discussing it with Rebby for a bit, I really came to love how well the chocolate theming stands out. It was still a really strong "maybe" for me the week before the trip, but when I realized the stores were all quickly selling out of it and online had 0 stock as well, I really was more determined to find it and at least try it on. Shibuya, Harajuku, Omiya, Shinjuku, Machida and Yokohama all didn't have the dress in brown but I finally was able to find it at the Ikspiari location and, given the opportunity, got the last one!

There's something kind of classic feeling about brown and white, especially with all the little chocolate pieces! The fit is a little loose on the top, but nothing incredibly noticeable for me, and I also really like the length. The side zipper is great for access but the neckline is also wide and generous as well (so I'm not squeezing my head through). Definitely the selling point about this is the print - it stands out so well in this colorway, and I am so happy to have found it. It feels a bit more unique than many of my similar looking pink and white dresses!
Sweet latte OP in pink (175-6001-0)
スウィートラテ柄ワンピース
Purchased from Liz Lisa Yokohama Vivre on Day 5.
This is the exact same dress as above. It features a lace up detail on the chest surrounded by two vertical ruffles from the shoulder to waist where they meet at a big ribbon. The print includes latte drinks along with chocolate pieces and (white) chocolate bar motifs.
Pink was my gut reaction to purchase for this print, but knowing that it was so prevalent in all the different stores, I decided to wait to purchase it until after I had exhausted my options for getting the brown version. In reality, it didn't really matter because I decided to get both anyway. In contrast to the classic looking brown, the pink is very girly and sweet!

with Malco Modes Angela petticoat, (Liz Lisa latte necklace*,) Liz Lisa embroidery ribbon beret* and Liz Lisa 3 strap pumps* + Liz Lisa latte cardigan* and Samantha Thavasa purse -
Of course, the pink color is great and I have absolutely no regrets about buying this OP in both colors, especially because it can easily work sleeveless (on its own), with a top layered under or a cardigan layered over. The picture of the Liz Lisa Machida 109 shop staff up by the stock photo is what really convinced me to buy this dress specifically....and then all of the matching items in the coordinate as well. Luckily, this time it actually worked out and I like it as much on myself as I do on her!
Sweet latte necklace in pink (175-9101-0)
スウィートラテネックレス
Purchased from Liz Lisa Ikspiari on Day 4.
This single chain necklace features small heart shaped pearls, a cupcake charm and a latte cup + saucer charm. There is a 3D rose + ribbon pendant.
My small selection of necklaces is growing! As mentioned above, I wanted to go all out with the latte series this time and decided to purchase the necklace too, especially after seeing the Machida 109 shop staff picture. I went back and forth a bit about color since bordeaux is going to be so strong this season and I don't have many accessories in that color family, but pink seemed to be the most versatile overall and I wanted to get the shop staff outfit 1:1, so it won out.
with Liz Lisa English rose OP, Liz Lisa embroidery ribbon beret* and Liz Lisa 3 strap pumps* -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa sweet latte OP in brown and Liz Lisa sweet latte OP in pink coordinates above and Liz Lisa embroidery ribbon beret, Liz Lisa 3 strap pumps, Liz Lisa OTK argyle socks and Liz Lisa check pleats winding wind sukapan coordinates below]
It's a cute but simple necklace and the charms are really darling. The length is quite nice as well and I don't think I'll have any trouble finding uses for it - I wore it with many of the other items' coordinates in this post!Embroidery ribbon beret in pink (175-9501-0)
刺繍リボンベレー
Purchased from Liz Lisa Ikspiari on Day 4.
This beret is a pretty average shape but features a double layer ribbon with "Royal Sweets Labyrinth" embroidered on it in gold and a small heart charm with Liz Lisa embossed on it.
I purchased this because I was really inspired by the shop staff picture that included it and also because I ruined my white Liz Lisa beret by stupidly throwing it in the washing machine (I really honestly don't know what I was thinking FML). I already have a bordeaux beret, so pink was the obvious choice!
with Liz Lisa latte necklace*, Liz Lisa cotton lace frill ribbed top, Liz Lisa monochrome flower skirt, Liz Lisa lace up pom pom bag and Liz Lisa heart suede pumps -
with Liz Lisa x My Melody 3rd collab OP and Liz Lisa back ribbon pearl pumps -
with (Liz Lisa latte necklace*,) Liz Lisa logo flower OP and Liz Lisa lace up back wedge sandals -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa sweet latte OP in pink and Liz Lisa latte necklace coordinates above and Liz Lisa 3-strap pumps and Liz Lisa OTK argyle socks coordinates below]
This beret is a fantastic color match to the necklace and 3-strap pumps from this season, but I can definitely use it with past season items as well! I think there's a little bit of a purple tone to it, but that somehow makes it feel a bit more like autumn. There's nothing unusual about the fit and the ribbon appears to be secured well. Sweet latte cardigan in white (175-3001-0)
スウィートラテカーディガン
Purchased from Liz Lisa Ikspiari on Day 4.
This button-down round neck cardigan features small ruffles along the neckline, down each panel along the buttons and at the bottom hem. There is a soft, light tulle surrounding each sleeve and a horizontal panel of lace near the waist. The buttons are shaped like chocolate pieces and there is a latte embroidered on the upper chest.
I wasn't sold on this cardigan at first because I thought the chocolate buttons and specific embroidery design would be too limiting, but after seeing enough shop staff photos, I was more than convinced that I needed a full matching set of items from the latte series including the cardi. White is an obvious choice for me and I knew it would match with any of the colors of the latte OPs which is great because I got both pink and brown!
with Liz Lisa Hep Five limited check OP and Liz Lisa glitter pumps + Samantha Thavasa fur trim purse -
with Liz Lisa check skirt, Liz Lisa big ribbon beret and Liz Lisa lace up pom pom pumps + Coach small purse -
with Liz Lisa check top, Liz Lisa check skirt, Liz Lisa wide brim fedora and Liz Lisa suede ribbon pumps -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa sweet latte OP in brown and Liz Lisa sweet latte OP in pink coordinates above and Liz Lisa choco dip cherry jumperskirt coordinate below ]
The cardigan is a great length and falls just at the right part of my waist. The horizontal lace is a great detail that I really like. The tulle on the sleeves is really interesting as well and not something any of my other cardigans has! The chocolate pieces aren't as distracting as I thought they would be and hardly noticeable if you're a bit farther away. I think this will be a great addition to my stash of cardigans. 3 strap pumps in pink (175-9601-0)
3連ストラップパンプス
Purchased from Liz Lisa Ikspiari on Day 4.
These round toe pumps feature 2 mary jane-style straps and an ankle strap. There is a velvet double ribbon on the front and three vertically aligned faux leather ribbons on the back of the ankle.
Shoes are something I look to specifically purchase on trips because I can save on shipping costs by bringing them back in my suitcase. Usually it still evens out even if I purchased at full price but the shoes go on sale later because they weigh so much and the box size often pushes the package to the next size bracket making the shipping more expensive. Of the autumn shoes that were released at the time, these 3 strap pumps were my obvious choice because I already have pom pom pumps from last year (so I don't need this year's version), but I also just loved the look of these with the simple ribbon at the front!
with Liz Lisa latte necklace*, Liz Lisa sailor blouse, Liz Lisa floral jumper skirt and Liz Lisa embroidery ribbon beret* -
with Liz Lisa ribbon shoulder blouse and Liz Lisa snow globe skirt -
with Liz Lisa boa bustier OP and Liz Lisa lace up pom pom bag -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa sweet latte OP in pink and Liz Lisa latte necklace coordinates above]
I purchased these in size L (my usual size) and they fit just as expected. These pumps are actually very similar in color to last year's Liz Lisa heart organza pumps but the material is the biggest difference (2016 faux suede vs 2017 faux leather). Like the beret, the pink color has a little bit of a purple tone to it, but luckily a lot of other Liz Lisa items are the same way!OTK argyle socks in white (175-9801-0)
ニーハイソックス
Purchased from Liz Lisa Harajuku Takeshita doori on Day 3.
These long socks (exact length - knee or OTK likely depends on your own leg/height) feature a darker/higher contrast diamond & heart argyle print in the back and a subtle diamond & heart argyle print on the front. There are small bows on the top which is designed to be folded down.
When I noted the return of longer socks this season, I knew I had to have them! White was my first choice because I thought they would be able to match with the most. Because of the color scheme of the argyle, I knew that I would easily be able to wear them with pinks and most neutrals!
with Liz Lisa 3-way trench coat and Liz Lisa 3d flower pumps -
with Tralala ladder lace top, Liz Lisa back ribbon pleated shorts, (Liz Lisa latte necklace*,) Liz Lisa embroidery ribbon beret* and Liz Lisa lace up back pumps -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa latte OP in brown and Liz Lisa check pleats winding wind sukapan]
Please note if you are considering buying these! The socks are made of average knit-ish material but this trim does not stretch! (Stock photo of brown socks is being used since the contrast of color makes it easier to see.)
If you have lean legs, then of course you will have no problems. Obviously these don't look the best on me because I have comparatively thicker thighs (for my body type) and I could not properly adjust the socks to my desired length. This is not a fishing expedition for compliments about my legs and how they're fine as they are or thicc thighs save lives. Yes, yes okay. I'm grateful my legs exist as they are, but for the purposes of this blog post, it's important to know they are bigger than average and the socks did not fit as expected because of my leg size. It was very difficult to get the socks up to the height you see in the photos and they simply could not be extended any further up my thighs. Otherwise, I really love the design, but I'm not sure how much I can really use them because I'm just constantly worried about busting the trim when I move my leg.
Vintage rose OP in bordeaux (175-6012-0)
ヴィンテージローズワンピース
Purchased from Liz Lisa Omiya Arche on Day 3.
This dress has an all over rose print with a vertical panel adorned with buttons and flanked with lace. The waist features a bow with a velvet buckle (non-functional and non-removable).
I was happy to see that this dress was offered in a bordeaux color! I knew that white and pink would be lovely, but perhaps too close to the parasol dress that Liz Lisa released in late summer. With that in mind, I decided to go with the "most autumn" color and continue to add to my bordeaux wardrobe!
with Liz Lisa x Yui Kanno pom pom ribbon barrette, Liz Lisa rabbit motif necklace and Liz Lisa (pom pom) pumps -
with Liz Lisa color collar blouse*, Liz Lisa cherry ribbon barrette* and Liz Lisa lace up pom pom pumps -
with Liz Lisa riders jacket, Liz Lisa x Yui Kanno pom pom ribbon barrette and Liz Lisa otk boots + Coach small purse -
with Liz Lisa 17th anniversary key embroidery cardigan, Liz Lisa big ribbon beret, Liz Lisa quilting pouchette* and Liz Lisa ankle boots -
The design of this dress is fairly simple but it fits really well and that's always a huge plus in my book! I really love florals on bordeaux for autumn and this dress reminds me a lot of the 2015 ribbon OP without being too repetitive. The material is light enough to wear in Hawaii weather, and I love that you can layer blouses under, cardigans over or just use it solo.
Collar color blouse in bordeaux (175-1001-0)
襟配色ブラウス
Purchased from Liz Lisa Yokohama Vivre on Day 5.
This bi-color button down collared blouse has piping along the collar edge and down the front panels. The pearl buttons are heart shaped and the double ribbon at the top is removable.
Although this blouse wasn't even on my radar going into the trip, the more shop staff photos I saw with it (in the different colorways with different items), I realized how much more versatile it could be and decided it would be a worthwhile purchase with Ebony's help.

with Liz Lisa pleats tulle sukapan, Liz Lisa big ribbon beret and Liz Lisa lace up pom pom pumps -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa vintage rose OP, Liz Lisa check pleats winding wind sukapan and Liz Lisa choco dip cherry jumperskirt]
Aside from just the examples right here, this blouse works with 3 other items in this haul! I never thought a bordeaux trim blouse would be so useful for me. It's much less limiting than I thought and is a fantastic complement to these other pieces that gives a little something extra than just a plain blouse would. I just need either the OP or the skirt from the latte print series to really achieve full usefulness of this blouse! ...But I'm sure autumn will bring many other bordeaux items that are suitable as well :)Check pleats winding wind sukapan in brown (175-5001-0)
チェックプリーツ巻き風スカパン
Purchased from Liz Lisa Yokohama Vivre on Day 5.
This sukapan has a pleated skirt and D-ring buckle for the waist. The print is a small check pattern and the hem of the inner shorts is made of the same fabric.
This was an autumn item I knew I would want to buy but I really hesitated about paying full price for it. The check print isn't exactly novel this autumn and the design isn't wholly unique but I still really liked it a lot. I caved about buying it when I decided to get the collared blouse (above) in bordeaux as well so they could pair easily. It was between this sukapan and the latte skirt (in bordeaux) but in the end this won out because I wanted something a little different (than what I had already purchased on the trip).
with Liz Lisa tie blouse, Liz Lisa cut cardigan, Liz Lisa otk argyle socks* and Liz Lisa lace up pom pom pumps -
with Liz Lisa color collar blouse, Liz Lisa cherry ribbon barrette and Liz Lisa heart suede pumps + Liz Lisa heart frill pouchette -
with Liz Lisa open shoulder knit top, Liz Lisa latte necklace*, Liz Lisa big ribbon beret, Liz Lisa quilting pouchette* and Liz Lisa ankle boots -
With the side zipper and the belt, this sukapan fits really well! It completely looks like a normal skirt when worn, but has the fantastic security of the hidden shorts. Because of the design, this sukapan does have a bit more weight than you might expect. It's not much to be concerned about when actually wearing it, but something to possibly consider when buying internationally and shipping it - it's not just a flimsy plaid skirt. I think it's super cute, and I love the little bits of bordeaux in it.
Quilting pouchette in bordeaux (175-9401-0)
キルティングポシェット
Purchased from Liz Lisa Ikspiari on Day 4.
This is a medium size rectangular purse made of a combination of faux leather and suede quilting with a short handle and longer shoulder strap option. The envelope flap is secured with a magnetic closure and there is a ribbon with pearl detail in the middle.
Although it wasn't my intention to purchase an autumn purse during this trip, as I looked at my other purchases and thought about what I would need to create a complete, cohesive outfit, I thought "Oh, might as well". Despite how popular this shape of purse is for Liz Lisa, it's never been something I've found myself regularly looking to actually use after buying them. I think maybe it's the snap closure that has to be in just the right position that bugs me for practicality? But regardless, the design is something I've always liked. I chose bordeaux because I already have way more pink purses than I really need but not a single one in this color which will be great to match with many items from this season and previous autumns.

with Liz Lisa glen check cape OP, Liz Lisa big ribbon beret and Liz Lisa lace up pom pom pumps -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa vintage rose OP and Liz Lisa check pleats winding wind sukapan coordinates above and Liz Lisa choco dip cherry jumperskirt coordinate below]
This purse has a cute little shape but is wide enough to hold quite a few things and even be considered somewhat spacious inside imo! I have no problem fitting my essentials inside. The optional adjustable shoulder strap is great to have and I think I'll probably be using it the most that way when actually walking around with it. Choco dip cherry jumperskirt in pink (173-6062-0)
チョコディップチェリージャンスカ
Purchased from Liz Lisa Harajuku Takeshita doori on Day 3.
This jumperskirt has a tulle overlay skirt with small, evenly spaced die-cut embroidered cherries, each with its own tiny bow. The text on the waist reads "Choco Dip Cherry" and the back features a sewn in ribbon. There is a contrast color trim highlighting certain lines/shapes throughout the jumperskirt and on the hem.
This is actually a summer item (173 item number) but because of the color scheme and how I'm styling it, I'm including it with the autumn items! I know that has the potential to be a little confusing but in terms of autumn aesthetic, I think it makes more sense this way since I purchased it with autumn styling intentions.
with Liz Lisa cherry ribbon barrette* and Liz Lisa ribbon wedge sandals -
with Liz Lisa cherry ribbon barrette*, Liz Lisa color collar blouse* and Liz Lisa heart suede pumps + Liz Lisa heart frill pouchette -
with Liz Lisa momonga cardigan, Liz Lisa embroidery ribbon beret* and Liz Lisa ribbon platform sandals -
with Liz Lisa latte cardigan*, Liz Lisa big ribbon beret and Liz Lisa heart suede pumps + Liz Lisa quilting pouchette* -
The jumperskirt allows for a combination of deep pink and bordeaux/deep red that matches way better than I ever would have thought. The fit is nice in the torso and I like the length as well. I always feel like it's a huge bonus when a jumperskirt can be worn completely on its own if desired which is certainly the case for this item. I'm still not the biggest fan of how the "choco dip" part of the choco dipped cherries was illustrated, but it's relatively unnoticeable from a distance and it doesn't bother me very much. I really like that I was able to match the theme of the jumperskirt with the latte cardigan featuring the chocolate buttons!
Cherry ribbon barrette (173-9209-0)
チェリーリボンバレッタ
Purchased from Liz Lisa Omiya Arche on Day 2.
This barrette features a double ribbon with lace trim and a cherry charm in the middle on a french style clip.
This is also a summer item and part of the same series as the jumperskirt above. I've been really into getting matching series items lately (apparently something I've been missing out on for years), so it was a no brainer for me to get this to accompany the jumper skirt!
with Liz Lisa color collar blouse*, Liz Lisa choco dip cherry jumperskirt* and Liz Lisa heart suede pumps -
[Also pictured with Liz Lisa vintage rose OP, Liz Lisa check pleats winding wind sukapan and Liz Lisa choco dip cherry jumperskirt coordinates above]
The main material of the ribbon is actually quite red compared to the bordeaux accents in the jumperskirt, but it does seem to be appropriate for cherry theming. I do wish it was just slightly deeper (closer to what it looks like in the stock photo), but that's not stopping me from wearing it with whatever other bordeaux items that catch my eye. The french style barrette clasp is thin but easy to secure. The only thing to be mindful of is that there is actually a proper right side up for the bow because the little green leaf might not sit correctly if its upside down. Vintage rose print wallet (novelty item)
ローズウォレット
This is a long style full zipper closure wallet with a rose print and a solid bow in the upper middle, just above the Liz Lisa metal logo. The print matches with the vintage rose series items released around the same time as the novelty was valid.

I really wasn't looking forward to trying to shoot the coordinates for all the items in this post at first because it just seemed like such a daunting task. However, as I started to go through everything, I realized that I had a lot of fun coming up with the looks especially for the bordeaux items ! I did end up having to reuse a lot of my non-clothing accessories (purses, shoes, hat, clips) throughout the post, but tbh nothing makes me happier than to know an item I've purchased can be used over and over and over again. Since I usually only coordinate with bordeaux during the autumn season, I forgot what a joy it was to wear. Pink is great as well, but eventually gets to be the same old, same old.
I'm really happy that blogging forced me to take on the challenge of incorporating non-main piece pieces many different ways - especially the color collar top! It was a lot more versatile with my current wardrobe and new pieces than I realized. In fact, I was really happy with how a lot of the pieces within this haul integrated with each other! It meant that I had to cheat a little with the choco cherry series pieces, but it seems to tell a more cohesive story this way.
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post as much as I enjoyed putting it together! If you want to leave me anonymous feedback, drop me a message at emiiichan.sarahah.com ♡

Wow!! Love how you coordinate them. You look so good in everything. I've not been checking in your blog much, but I read you darye from time to time. I have an anonymous account there. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you Ming! For the last couple months I've been wondering about you and your blog posts. I hope you are doing well <3
Deletewhen i saw the vintage rose op in your instagram post, the first thing i thought was "oh! this would be perfect for chinese new year celebrations" haha. in your blog post though, it looks very "christmas"-y!
ReplyDeletei'm also surprised it took you this long to start buying matching sets, but i'm glad that everything is reusable and that you're enjoying it so much. sometimes it can be fun to pair things the way the designers intended :D
Ah sorry lol. I think maybe the rose filter on the picture might be a little too strong! It is a bit of deep red but I do think it's strongly on the bordeaux edge which does read more Christmas!
DeleteI think I've never really considered myself a "fashion person" - I just enjoy having cute clothes. So I never really cared if I didn't have the PERFECT accessories. Tbh it still kind of pains me to pay more than $2 for any kind of (non precious metal) accessory so spending $30 just seems ridiculous lol. Hats are definitely becoming more and more exciting to incorporate for me but I'm still a bit lagging on the hair and jewelry type accessories lol.
I love, love, LOVE all these ultra-feminine dresses and outfit pieces from Liz Lisa!!!!!!!!!! The ruffles, ribbons, prints, ornamentation, ruching and trim are all beautiful and the design and overall look of the Liz Lisa dresses is wonderfully feminine and beautiful!!! The necklaces are very pretty too. I love the ruffle detail of the Liz Lisa cardigan that you styled with the Liz Lisa checked skirt having the cute bow at the back. OMG, what a fabulous Liz Lisa fashion haul! You look extremely adorable and pretty showcasing all these Liz Lisa styles! So many beautiful looks with all of these wonderfully pretty and feminine Liz Lisa outfit pieces! I LOVE them!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.full-brief-panties.blogspot.com/
You seriously pick out the most flattering items! I think getting all the matching items makes the outfit soooo cute! They are already cute but it's like extra cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd as always the outfits you come up with to go along are awesome. Do the berets sit on well? I've never bought one before... so I imagine that they always slip off?
For the beret, it probably depends a lot on how big your own head is hahaha. I don't have any problems with it on mine (in fact, with my wig hair, the beret is too small) but ofc if a strong wind comes, you'll have to hold onto it!
DeleteThere's also the small factor of HOW you wear it. Some people come up with some creative alternatives.
Omg... I loved all the co-ordinates! I really liked the sweet latte items. I was originally really into the series but kind of decided against them but urgh, now I want them again. The cardigan is super cute - I really want one now as well. The choco-dip cherry op is fab. The shoes are really nice too. Autumn shoes so far have been so cute!
ReplyDeleteI definitely see you in the cardigan and the skirt version of latte!
DeleteWowow, loving the autumn haul. <3 total heart eyes
ReplyDeleteThe sweet latte set is so nice. Brown OP has to be my fav, largely because of the chocolate waistbow. The dress designs look like they were intended for brown, it fits so beautifully! The beret's ribbon is a great touch, and the tulle on the cardigan sounds pretty cool.
The OTKs look pretty awesome. I have a similar pair with ribbon on the top that didn't stretch. What you can do is stretch them over a surface and apply heat in low doses to try to stretch out the trim. Be careful to check that the fabric often to ensure it doesn't burn/melt if you do this!
Your bordeoux haul is so fabulous. The quilted purse is my favorite only because i'm weak to bags. The blouse and check skirt match very well- it's a very classic chic look!
Lastly the cherry series is very cute, and I see why you put it with fall items. I wasn't a fan of the bodice cut on release but it looks really charming with a cardigan over it. Maybe I'll have to hunt this down on the secondhand market now.
Yes! Dont know why brown didn't immediately appeal to me, but once I took a really good look, I was certainly won over.
DeleteThe choco dip cherry jumperskirt is still available on TKL in white if you're interested, but otherwise I hope you find it!
Wow - Both hauls are amazing as usual!
ReplyDeleteThe bordeaux/red rocks, as usual, I can't get enough of dark red tones and am constantly thinking I have too few pieces in that color LOL. With autumn/fall around the corner, I am looking forward to wearing darker reds and browns more often again.
I was excited about the OTK sock comeback too at first, but then I realized my legs are far too long (and probably too thick) for LL socks and they would probably ride down and sit somewhere on or below my knee like most Asian size socks, so I passed. >_<
I didn't like the cherry dip series at first because I found it a bit weird - can't put my finger on it, but something about it didn't sit well with me - even though I usually love fruit and berry prints. But you actually make me have regrets about not looking at it more closely. I really like the OP on you and the way you style it, great job!
Oh gosh, I had SUCH a hard time deciding which colorway of the latte series I would get since I love them all, especially pink and brown. There's something about the light pink with the white that is so soft and sweet and also the brown is of course such an eyecatcher and so true to the theme - the choco stands out nicely.
I really adore how you paired the pink latte OP with beige.
Since I couldn't afford both colorways and had to pick, I decided to go with brown in the end. But I am still drooling over the pink one as well, especially after seeing your post.
I am currently DIY-ing cute accessoires featuring bows and cups and chocolate pieces to go with my brown latte OP while waiting for my order to get in. ^^
Imo these otk socks would definitely not slide down. They are SO tight on my thighs that I had a hard time moving them at all lol.
DeleteI wasn't big on choco cherry at first either, esp the somewhat unfinished looking tulle hem that's so short, but I do really like that it can be worn as a jumperskirt or as a standalone OP and the color is great too. Tbh I'd prefer if maybe the choco dip part was illustrated a little differently though. They kind of just look like rotting fruit.
Hope you get your brown latte soon!
I think my legs are so long and chubby in comparison to Liz Lisa models that what I mean by the OTK socks riding down is more like: Either I manage to somehow power-pull them onto the beginning of my kneecap (without them ripping and that's an if) and then they more "jump" or "bounce" down with the slightest movement than actually ride / slide down .. lol fml... OR - they simply won't even go that high and just look like soccer socks hahahahha. xD
DeleteNow that you say it, it might very well be that I had the same issue with the choco cherry dip series, something about the tulle doesn't seem right, but it seems to be more on the stock photos because on you it in person it looks fine..?
Haha, rotting fruit is good! To me, it initially kinda looked like there was a bit of poo or dirt on the cherries- close enough to your impression as in: not as desirable as yummy chocolate! ;)
