Japan trip Summer 2014 - Part 2a: Liz Lisa coordinates

Please check out my previous blog post [Japan trip Summer 2014 - Part 2: Liz Lisa shopping/items] for links and other info about the items worn in this post :)

Some of my new Liz Lisa items actually worn! This is only the first part because I just don't have the time to take pictures (+ edit) for all of the outfits at once, and I'm quite eager to start posting these, haha.

Ribbon lace off shoulder OP
Like I mentioned in my previous post, I don't love the shoulder ties on this dress, but they could easily be tucked into the bodice or cut off if they end up bothering me long term. I think I just have a lot of issues tying them so that they're at the right length, so they fall down sometimes (and that's my issue with them). Tbh, even when they do fall down, I don't hate how it looks though lol. Every time I look at the lace on the skirt of this dress, I fall in love with it all over again though haha. Super sweet and girly :)

Hep Five limited OP

I was trying really hard to show off the sheer panel near the hem of the skirt lol. Not sure if you can even tell. It's one of my favorite features of this dress though! The hemline does extend a bit farther than many other Liz Lisa OPs, but the sheer-ish detailing keeps it fun and flirty. I also love the shape of the bodice and the accents of the brown piping + the ribbon tie makes my waist look tiny!

Ribbon lace faux 2-piece OP
Lots of pictures of this OP because I like it a lot lol. Who knew this silhouette would work so well? In the second to last picture, it looks really awkward but I'm trying to show that the "top" flaps open and there's full lace there. Basically, the skirt is connected to a lace bodice and then there's the second top over it but they're all connected. Idk if that makes any sense to anyone but me...Anyway, I love the lace detail on the hem of both the "top" and the skirt. I also like that the back is kind of open because it allows for a bit of ventilation on hot days but you can still wear a bra without really exposing it haha. I also really like the length of this OP and that the zipper is really hidden (inside the overlay top)!

Border lace with flower detail OP
Super love the full skirt. It's actually made of a slightly heavier material (sorry I'm really bad at identifying different fabrics) which is really nice. The lace at the waist is a cute touch with a slight hint of skin, as is the V back. I like the little collar as well. I didn't really like the flower buttons at first, but I wore this dress out recently, and they really grew on me as a nice extra detail!

Sailor fuwafuwa OP
Lol okay I guess I'm really glad I bought this dress after all. Admittedly, yes, it is a little young for me (:|), but I just totally love it! I love navy and white. I love nautical theming. I love the material that the overlay is made of - it's just so soft and not itchy and doesn't feel cheapy at all. It's a pretty simple dress but just so light and dainty.

Also featured with every outfit in this post are my new Flower heel wedge sandals :)

Part 2b with the rest of the coordinates coming soon now posted!

    2. hey! I saw the liz lisa bow wedges online, and I haven't bought liz lisa shoes before. I'm a solid 23.5, which is an M, but Im wondering if you think it would be good to buy a size larger, or if liz lisa sizes are spot on? do you buy a size larger or the size it says you are?

    3. I'm a US size 7 and I pretty much always fit L (the floral heel wedges were a very very odd exception). I'm actually right at the cusp of M and L and most of the time, my foot fits better on an L...like I can technically wear M, but my toes will be creeping off like a centimeter or so.

    1. You should! When I saw it online, I thought it would have a cheapy tulle, but the overlay material is so soft and I love that about it.

  7. Oh my all those are so cute, I'm sorry for the comment spam but but seriously, I think the sailor dress is my favourite by far (sailor-themed clothing is my favourite thing), but the off-the-shoulder dress and the 2-piece lace outfits are super cute too ♥ How much would you say most Liz Lisa pieces cost? Also where'd you get the sailor hat? Thank you ;u;

    1. Liz Lisa OPs generally retail for around 9400yen - 9900yen. You can check out the prices at the online shop here: http://www.tokyokawaiilife.jp/shop/liz-lisa
The sailor hat is actually my father's, and it's quite worn and brown lol because it was actually used! But you can probably buy something similar from any costume shop.
