**WORK IN PROGRESS!** This recap post will include the sample reveal photo provided by Liz Lisa if any (as shown on
lizlisa.com and
tokyokawaiilife.jp) and screenshots/links to posts from actual customers of their Liz Lisa 2016 fukubukuro and contents. I will continue to update as more reveals are posted/found. Many international customers who purchased directly from Liz Lisa haven't received their lucky packs yet so hopefully there will be more in the next couple of weeks as forwarding/shopping services start shipping out.
For more general information about Liz Lisa's 2016 fukubukuro options, please check out
my earlier post!
Because I don't want to be left with numerous empty links a year later, I'm taking screenshots of pictures on blogs/profiles, rather than solely including links in case urls change or things get deleted. I am not attempting to take credit for other people's work. Please click on the picture or caption to visit the source. If I linked to your blog/profile or used a picture of yours and you would like it taken down, please let me know at any time. If you would like to be added to this list or have any additional information, please also just let me know or leave a link to your post in the comments!

For estimates to ship these items based on the weights provided, consider checking out Tenso's shipping calculator
here. Even if you do not use Tenso's services, they break down the price such that you can see the international shipping fee separate from their service fee, so that info may still be useful to you as a tool to plan for shipping cost.

As with the
2014 fukubukuro recap post and
2015 fukubukuro recap post, I hope this will serve as a resource for myself and others when considering purchasing fukubukuro from Liz Lisa. In 2016, there was definitely some changes that were made with the fukubukuro options and content item quantities and pricing, and there are bound to be changes in the future as well, but I know that a number of people might want to look back and see what the previous year(s) have shown.
If you would like a link to your post about your Liz Lisa 2016 fukubukuro to be added, please let me know!
For those who ordered online from authorized retailers and shipped
internationally, if you don't mind providing your shipping information (particularly the weight of your package in grams and cost in yen), I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by potential customers in the future.
Hi Emi! My 3-way casual bag weighed 2000g on the shipping invoice. The fuku itself probably weighed a little less, as I bought from Tokyo Otaku Mode and they put extra things inside (gift wrapping, folder, mini poster and invoice).
ReplyDeleteIm a bit disappointed though ... I bought the 15000 sweet set and every fukubukuro is the same as it seems...
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're disappointed but that's not unusual. And actually I think many people last year were really upset that they didn't receive the same as everyone else lol. I suppose there's no pleasing everyone. I guess the thing about fukubukuro is that you don't know what you're going to get and it's always a gamble. It ends up being worth it to some but not to others depending on your taste.
DeleteOh seriously? XD all the Fukubukuro I had before had different contents so I am really surprised. I thought thats like the 'special' thing about Fukubukuro.
DeleteThank you very much for your kind reply and all the effort to update this Blogpost ♡
I suppose it depends on the brand and where you buy from (sometimes online and in store has different variation). I guess that's kind of the point of this post tho - to show what actual customers have received in relation to the sample reveals, whether it's exactly the same or not. If you look at the recap post from last year, it's definitely different than what occurred this year. This year was a bit more similar to what happened in 2014 imo.
DeleteTenso received my lucky pack from Liz Lisa. I bought the 25000 bag and the shipping costs they gave me were as followed from Japan to the US:
ReplyDeleteEMS - 8,380 yen
Air - 9,980 yen
SAL - 7,680 yen
Surface - 4,980 yen
The weight is 3,620g for reference.
Thank you Ica!

Glad you like the contents! To some people, fukubukuro are definitely worth it!
DeleteHappy New Year!! Wow, they are all so pretty and so worth it too.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Ming!
DeleteHappy New Year 2016 Emiii-chan! <3 Hope your year started out well for you!
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting for my Liz Lisa fukubukuro to arrive ^^
I ordered from a private person who does shopping service sometimes. I will hopefully get the items soon (and probably have to go to customs to pay for picking them up- just my luck, meh). I'll keep you guys updated what the whole thing cost me including customes and shipping as soon as I have it.
I ordered both 5000 Yen sets and will sell one of the bags because I don't need two of the same bag (although, in case one gets ruined...hmmm). Looking forward to owning a 3way bag, I needed a light beige new one anyway!
It's my first time ordering fukubukuro directly when they come out, so I didn't go all out money wise by getting the bigger ones. >_<
Still, I think I'll be very happy with the items I'll be getting, they seem nice and versatile in goes-with-most-things colors - and I don't have a camisole or full knit OP from Liz Lisa yet.
Because I live in an area where we do have cold winter and rainy/windy autumn, I will get quite some wear out of winter items, that is why fukubukuro clothing items generally work well for me.
I kind of regret not getting the big one with the colorful items, though, because I do quite like the burgundy/brown themes lately and don't have enough clothes in such autumn/winter colors. I guess I didn't binge-buy because it didn't come with a suitcase this year. ^.~
To be honest, I probably would have broken the bank if they had come out with a suitcase. Dunno if that's lucky or if I will just continue to regret not getting the darker clothes as well hahah. ^^;
Maybe you can pick up the other pieces secondhand or from the outlet later! Better to be conservative sometimes, there's nothing wrong with that!
DeleteYep, good point. I will keep my eyes peeled for good secondhand deals on the darker shaded items.
ReplyDeleteHeyhey, as promised, I still owe you a report on the total costs of my fukubukuro order. ^-^
ReplyDeleteI live in Europe. I ordered the Liz Lisa 3-way Lace up bag Sweet style and the Liz Lisa 3-way Lace up bag Casual style via a private person shopping service. The amount I had to pay the private person was relatively high. Both bags plus fee for the service cost me about 120 € (Euro) which is about 15.746 ¥ (Japanese Yen) or ca. 130 $ (US Dollar). So it was roughly comparable to buying three small Liz Lisa fukubukuro instead of the two. Ouch.
On top of this price, I paid about €17 (¥2.230 or $18,42) for shipping (I think it was Registered Airmail including tracking number).
I got lucky in customs, though, and- although the total definitely exceeded the free-of-charge amount one gets here- had to pay zero customs fee. Yay, small victory. ^_~
Makes a total of roundabout €137 (¥17.977 or $148,38) for two fukubukuro that would have been €76,23 or ¥10.000 when bought directly in store. Oops. Weeeeell, a plane ticket to Japan is a lot more expensive, so... (gotta justify this somehow haha)
The items arrived safely packaged and in immaculate condition, unopened with tags and everything attached, around mid of January. I am very happy with my purchase despite the price (importing stuff from Japan is always expensive where I live, I expected as much and saved up accordingly) and will keep it all in my wardrobe. I wore the sweater dress and both camisoles already and got a few nice compliments, hehe.
Here is a link to a picture of my items:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/nx9hvpwh1ofvkss/choo_lizlisa_fukubukuro_2016.jpg?dl=0
I only included one bag in the picture because they're identical and I sold the second one already.
I hope this helps as a reference for other Europeans ordering fukubukuro! <3
I guess this is about a year and a half late but my 15,000 yen casual fukubukuro was 2,200 grams.
ReplyDeleteIt's never too late! Thank you.
